Description
The L298N Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver Module is a high-power electronic switching board engineered to control the speed and direction of direct-current actuators. Built around the rugged L298N dual H-bridge driver IC, this module acts as a high-current buffer between low-power microcontrollers and inductive loads. It allows developers to control two independent brushed DC motors or one 4-wire bipolar stepper motor simultaneously, making it an essential component for robotic drivetrains and automated systems.

  • Dual H-Bridge Topology: Features two independent driver channels capable of reversing motor current directions to enable forward and backward rotation. 
  • Onboard 5V Linear Regulator: Includes an integrated 78M05 voltage regulator that drops external motor power down to a stable 5V output to run low-power logic boards. 
  • Flyback Protection Diodes: Equipped with high-speed protection diodes on all output lines to absorb inductive back-EMF voltage surges from stopping motors. 
  • Granular PWM Speed Modulation: Supports pulse-width modulation signals on its enablement pins, allowing smooth, continuous speed throttle control.
