Description
Safely measure both AC and DC electrical pathways with the highly precise ACS712 Current Sensor Module. Operating on the principle of the Hall-effect, this specialized board generates an analog voltage output directly proportional to the magnetic field created by flowing current. Crucially, it features 2.1 kVRMS galvanic isolation between your high-voltage load lines (like 230V AC mains) and your delicate 5V low-power microcontrollers. This setup prevents catastrophic feedback loops, making it an indispensable choice for smart power meters, battery chargers, solar tracking configurations, and motor load monitoring systems. 
Key Product Features
  • Total Electrical Isolation: Copper conduction path is isolated from the sensor die, protecting development boards against high-voltage spikes. 
  • Bi-directional Measurement: Tracks alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) flowing in either forward or reverse directions. 
  • Heavy-Duty Input Terminal: Outfitted with a premium, high-gauge dual-screw terminal block to safely accept loose conductor wiring. 
  • Linear Analog Calibration: Generates a stable analog voltage curve centered exactly at 2.5V when zero current is flowing through the sensing line. 
  • Easy System Customization: Features an integrated filter pin connection path to lower system noise and set custom data bandwidth steps.
